Blog 79 Maternity visit
What a party it was, the visit to Madam Martha to see the baby.! Around 10 o'clock we were almost all at Martha's house. In August, Martha gave birth to a son Haysin, or in Buili Agwonbolimi.
We were very warmly welcomed with water. Then we sang for Martha and Hasin.
For us, of course, giving the gifts was important: Abraham gave soap himself, Awonbolomi gave a pack of diapers on behalf of all of us, as did Awentimi. Ezekiel was allowed to hand over an envelope, with the announcement that this has to be put on the bank, because it is really for Hasin!
Richmond gave the most important gift: a play-mat that we painted together! Martha and Haysin loved it! They, in return, treated us to a bottle of lemonade!
After that, Godfred and Margreet played drums: Godfred on an empty jerry can and Margreet on an empty sink. Everyone danced and enjoyed!
To conclude, we all went to the Derbah grounds. There we played football and had a picnic. A day to remember!
