84 Excursion part 2, to Burkina Faso

That was a surprise! We went abroad. First the crocodiles and then also across the border. It was a real adventure. But the one who was most happy with this: Arafat. Because his family lives in Burkina Faso. To be more precise in Pô. We drove all the way there! That was a surprise for everyone. He was also able to see his grandmother and another uncle. They live on the other side of the border, near Paga.

On the Burkina Faso side of the border we saw a lot of soldiers. They carried very heavy backpacks, we think they had a training in the woods nearby. We wanted to take a picture with them, but that was not allowed. There were a lot of them: at customs, in the 'no-man's land' where it is not really clear whether it is Ghana or Burkina Faso.

There were also a lot of trucks that had to wait before they were allowed to cross the border. Nice to see. We never actually see so many trucks together.

Back in Paga (Ghana) we were invited by postmaster, a former colleague and friend of Richard. They treated us to a delicious meal.

Of course, we also got something to drink and also something tasty.

It was a SUPER day!
